Marketing Strategy

We live in a visual world which makes content marketing vital. Companies that utilize creativity in their marketing message and content have seen increased consumer engagement, brand awareness and sales. Content marketing is one component of the marketing mix, however it yields the higher ROI than traditional media platforms.

A full marketing plan integrates the marketing message across multiple points of customer contact (print, online, outdoor, email, broadcast and direct mail). A full marketing plan is not about being everywhere at the same time, but reaching people where they are in a given season.

Studying the market helps select which platforms to utilize and which channels bring the greatest results. A comprehensive marketing effort has content on a series of media channels (online and offline). Effective market research helps us understand the competition, and the factors that impact your ability to reach and interest people to your products or service.

Digital marketing efforts should drive traffic to your website with actionable opportunities to buy or get more information. Whether it’s email campaigns, social media, AdWords (PPC) advertising or even offline campaigns, your website is the hub of your marketing activities no matter which channels you use to reach your audience.

In the Middle East I was given the assignment of translating American and British brands for Arab consumers.   The goal was to engage consumers with marketing content that is culturally appropriate and seasonally relevant.  For Cinnabon I developed a campaign for social media and print that featured new products and celebrated  national observances.
